Glenn,Roy and Ian are coming down to Wiltshire and have asked me to show them around the Plain.
We've got room for three more in the group......so who's up for it.
It will be wet :D
It will be slippy :D
It will be cold :D
It will be great fun :D
Will sort out times/places at a later date, when i know whether you are going to van/trailer or ride over.
The bottom section of the Bulford ranges will be shut that day (they sometimes drop the flag's at 3.00pm),but i've got some new lanes sorted from last weeks ride,so plenty to do.

Cheers,
Andy.

Hi Andy,
Roughly what time do you aim to start/finish? I'm doing this http://www.watercressonline.co.uk/section.php?xSec=39 in the evening.

I assume it will be wet by then, the plain was bone dry on Saturday. Even the fords and the big bombhole in the middle of the Bulford ranges were competely dry.

Cheers,
Jon.

Hi Jon.
I should think we will be starting at 8.30-9.00 and will be finished by 5.00 at the vary latest as i think it will be dark by then.I've not sorted the start point out yet but it will be in the Pewsey area and even if we do run a little late, you can bail out at any time (that beer-up looks to good to miss).
The Waterfront has stopped doing breakfast's and the place just down from the Burbage always seems to be shut,so first stop will be at lunch time.
Hope you can make it,
Cheers,
Andy.

You mean the green portacabin on the A346? They are open Mon-Sat, from (I think) 07.00 to 16.00. Although they are always closed on Sundays. I'm usually in there at least once a week, would be more if they were open on Sundays! The big breakfast for a fiver with home baked bread is fantastic.

The cafe at Barbury Castle also do a good breakfast if you are up that way, but now the Ridgeway is closed for the winter there isn't as much to do.
