Hi Andy,

Muggins here as been tasked with booking a B&B for the motley MK crew for the Saturday night so we can do some exploring on Sunday as well ... not sure it matters where we book - just trying to help you if you've planned a particular route etc, last time I think we stayed at the Royal Oak in Pewsey, if there's a better 'base' for us let me know and then I'll start ringing round to see what's available.

Cheers

The Seven Stars in Bottlesford is very nice. Although it's more remote, so you can't just walk to the chip shop. It's my local, tell them I sent you. Alternately, others often stay at the Holiday Inn at Solstice services (~£49 a night). It's right in the middle of Salisbury Plain so perfect for an early start.

Pewsey is spot on Glenn and Jon's local is also in the right area.Let me know where you end up and i'll sort the meeting/parking point and don't worry about all your kit as you can leave it in my car.
BTW.So i can sort out the route....what tyres are Ian and Roy using as were having a bit of a wet spell at the moment,so it wont dry up now until May.

Cheers,
Andy.

I'm not on the riders list at the start, but just to be absolutely clear; I won' be coming on this one. Hope you have a great one, as you say it' been a touch wet here over the past week :D

Cheers,
Jon.

We're all (five) booked in at the Royal Oak http://pewseyroyaloak.com/ for Sat 21st.

I've emailed Ian & Roy to post/reply here as to what tyres ....
