I'm just about at the point where my groans and grumbles are getting too much and riding the TTR6 is loosing its charm on the rallies  . Its manageable but getting too uncomfortable to be fun on the tougher events. So ... I've got my sights set on the TTR250 :D .

If anyone sees anything up to the £1500 mark I'd appreciate a heads-up

Loads out there Mike. Its gotta be a blue one for that price. Watch out for the starter motor clonking and the rest is peachy :)
Why not go for an XR400 or 250?

Good choice Mike. A mate of mine won the 250 class at the Cambrian Rally on one, when it was a 1 dayer, a few years back.
Ever consider a CRM Mike, damn good bike for the money. Should get a mk3 in very good nick for around a grand.

Thanks for replies :D

Not sure about CRF cos I like me four stroke Gwyn. Green is tempting Rob but I want to stick with trail bike. I've had a good snout around and I keep coming back to the TTR as it seems like a well capable trailie with all the right stuff.

Cheers for links Rob. just need to get me finances sorted and I'll get ya hunting for me. Been 4 years since I last bought a bike
